Purpose
United States Online University (USOU) is the first global education network dedicated to assist training and performance professionals in their approach to improve competence, productivity and performance at the workplace.
USOU does not enroll students and does not offer academic degrees. Its programs are offered solely through partner universities, corporate universities as well as training- and consulting companies.
History
ITD International started in 1969 in Germany and expanded to the USA in 1989. ITD is an internationally recognized performance consulting firm. It was a natural evolution in the late 1990’s when the management team of ITD began to explore the feasibility of founding a university with a focus on business education. United States Online University (USOU) was founded in 2000.
The connection of United States Online University and ITD International represents one of the first endeavors to combine expertise from the business world and the academic world in a formalized university setting. While United States Online University and ITD International are independent entities, their relationship is a complementary one.
