Ms. Tina Sung became the ASTD President and CEO in January 2000. A community of dedicated professionals, ASTD acts as a catalyst, empowering members and customers around the world to continuously improve and advance workplace learning and performance using an unmatched global network of resources and expertise. Before she took over the leadership of ASTD, Ms. Sung directed the Federal Quality Consulting Group, a team that provides consulting services to executive level government leaders, co-founded the Federal Quality Institute, was a senior examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, and was part of former Vice President Albert Gore’s National Partnership for Reinventing Government.
